   Still, with all of the plastic-people trendy spots opening, I revel in eating at 
   a restaurant owned and run by people whose backgrounds come from 
   the same place that the cooking comes. It's a little adventure and learning 
   experience right in my neighborhood.
   
Which reminds me - I recommend Saad's Halal Restaurant on the corner
of 45th and Walnut (kitty-corner across from the Mosque).  The
customer service is excellent - I haven't felt this good since I was a
"regular" at Koch's.  The menu is a typical eat-in / take-out stuff,
both American and Middle Eastern.
