Of course, we were all kept awake by the lovely sound of helicopters all night . . .

I called jainnie blackwell's office and asked about landscaping the lot first, because
I'm paranoid, and sandy hayes told me that I could _not_ do any landscaping of it
because it's still tresspassing, regardless of whether or not the owner is doing
anything with it. And believe me, I'm cleaning up trash every freakin day. But usually
when I get home. That windblown stuff isn't (I'm pretty sure) from the people next
door, but from the dumpsters behind the watutsi and the properties along that end.
Somewhere around here I have some photos of the piles of trash sitting out there. I'd
dig them up, but it's not that interesting.

Very little dog barking and no baby crying last night! Though the folks behind me did
get into a loud domestic in the alley at 5:45 this morning, but we were already up by
then! Haha! Foiled!

Hey- how about picking up some of that trash around the door-- and I don't want to
hear about your "evil", trash-spewing neighbors. I am already cleaning up my block and
the eastside of 47th street b/w Larchwood and Baltimore. Don't tell me that I have to
come over and clean up you damn property too!

And what's going on with that vacant lot -- I happened to drive by it this morning
and I let's just say, I didn't think to myself-- "my, my, my, Kyle has done a
BEAUTIFUL job landscaping that vacant lot."

Subject: [UC] My own garage door

Hey kids -- I'd asked chip to cc me any info he got, but I realize that his goals may
be different than mine. I have this lovely garage door see:

http://www.asc.upenn.edu/usr/cassidy/projects/this-old-goth-house/garage-doo
r/1.jpg

Which was damaged when the house next door to me got knocked down (some broken
windows, the left mounting got knocked out of kilter). The result is that the door
doesn't open and close properly. I'd thought, like chip "hey, I'll put an automatic
garage door in there! It'll be cool!" but then I realized, I like my garage door. It
looks ... If not rustic, then at least rusty. My question is this:

Who can fix my garage door? I want it to open and close nicely, I want to be able to
lock it , I might replace the windows myself, but if someone else wants to do it, why
should I get in their way. I have a tax return burning, burning a hole in my pocket
and I'd like to start this in the next few days. The more I look at it, the more I
find myself thinking: what a noble garage door! If only it worked!

Thanks a bundle.

Kyle

Subject: [UC] Garage door

Hi,

I want to install a garage door and opener, and I'd like to buy the door from someone
who will install it for me. This involves ripping out the old swinging doors, hooking
up the electrical, etc.

Does anyone know of a garage door dealer/installer in the Philadelphia area that they
would recommend?

Thanks,

--- Chip
