I just came from 47th Street between Osage and Pine where a classic UC
circus is in progress.
It seems 4 horses escaped from a barn on Markoe (near 47th and
Westminster) and ran southwest, unobstructed until around 49th & Cedar.
A police tow truck with cowboy driver sprang into action too lasso those
ponies and a round-up began. The horses were chased east on Cedar and
north on 47th at which point converging cop cars were able to create a
corral using the two truck, several police cars and the front wall of
Nancy Cox's home.
Onlookers included the usual eclectic mix of UC suspects
50 year old broad with magenta hair
40 year old man with big blue bird (parrot?)
kids with leashed dogs
adults with pocket dogs
parents with cameras
Anyone who wants a photo may find it on tonight's news or maybe in the UC
Review.
