The academics seem at odds with the business interests as represented by
The Wall Street Journal -- which supports the president's economic
policies.
Is this an ivory tower versus a rubber meets the road
difference? A liberal versus conservative difference? Or what?
Maybe a question of something being wrong that the theorists don't understand so
they just want "something else" while the pragmatists just believe they can
continue working their way through it as always?
It's hard for us non-economists to know which side is even credible, let
alone right.
