East of West Townwatch is one of several Townwatch groups in West Philadelphia and includes the area from 42/Pine to 42/Regent Square to 43/Baltimore to 46 Baltimore to 46/Pine and then back to 42/Pine.
If you're interested in Townwatch but don't live in this area, come to the meeting anyway and we'll get you the contact information for the Townwatch group in your area.
Basically Townwatch groups walk through our neighborhoods and report anything suspicious or dangerous to the Philadelphia Police. Beyond that, it's a great way to meet your neighbors and get to know your neighborhood (and if you're sedentary like me, to get some exercise).
We've asked Officer Mike Davis of the 18th District to come but haven't heard if he'll be able to attend or not.
