I wanted to let you know that I contributed over 10 years ago to the Tom Waits' dictionary which is on the web. It is mostly American slang. The story behind my involvement is that I met some Europeans who were fluent in English and great fans of Tom Waits. One fellow had even memorized a lot of lyrics and yet did not have a clue about what they meant, since they are filled with slang from many different origins. It was a lot of fun contributing and I'm still interested in doing the etymology of slang and idioms. Anyway, have fun.
