That's a point to consider when we start debating the dog run. Bring it up at a meeting.
thanks for the offer to come to the table, tho it doesn't really address the broader question I've been asking, about how the table's set in the first place (ie, some people may want instead to spend their time directly entreating local law enforcement agencies to more carefully enforce existing leash laws...)
meanwhile, some folks on the list have already mentioned that there's another dog run in our area? which charges a fee for users? perhaps someone at focp has already investigated how and why that came to be, how and why it works?

The Chester Avenue Dog Club operates a fenced dog park at 48th & Chester. All dog owners are welcome to join. Fees are $50 a year, covering maintenance and insurance. Currently we have room for new members!
