16th Annual Celebration of African Cultures
Saturday, February 12, 2005 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology
3260 South Street, Philadelphia

This day-long celebration offers something for everyone! Enjoy dancing, drumming, and acrobatics by the Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble, the harmonies of the Women's Sekere Ensemble, Momma Sandi's stories, and Queen Nur's traditional games and songs. The day also features interactive performances by musicians Harold Smith and Byard Lancaster, the talented teens from Art Sanctuary's North Stars, talks, tours, food, and more!

All programs are free with regular admission donation, which is $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Admission is free for Museum members, children under 6 and PENNcard holders.
