I agree with you Ray. If you read the UCD marketing plan, you will quickly observe there is no process for involving the residents in the marketing or vision. UCD has appointed themselves "The" marketers of University City. I asked if anyone had ever attended or were invited to participate in UCD planning committees or board activities, and no one replied.
On top of the fact that UCD has disenfranchised residents in the planning process they are also, in my opinion, not capturing the essence of what U-City could offer.
