How many PhD's?
Five: One to write the grant proposal, one to do the mathematical modeling,
one to type the research paper, one to submit the paper for publishing, and
one to hire a student to do the work.

How many People?
It takes two to screw anywhere, stupid.

Whats up Doc.

Are you using a rheostat/dimmer on any of the switches? They tend to work
only
with specific versions of the CFL's; when they are used, you get no power
or the annoying flicker of flourescence. (I recently converted all of the
bulbs in my house to CFL and - besides there being more bulbs than I
imagined - encountered this problem several times.)

In all of the cases, updating the switch corrected the problem.
