What I believe Barry is referring to is a letter of support or recommendation which comes from SHCA Zoning committee and is sent to the ZBA. If no one shows as opposition then the board is largely influenced by the recommendation. I am not even sure if it is ratified by the SHCA Board of Directors before it is released. What I am pointing out is the process used to determine what the SHCA Zoning Committee recommendation will be. It isn't very comprehensive. The process is as I described it in my post which was criticized by you Melani as inaccurate. Again, I don't agree. S

As I'm sure you know, there has not been a change in city policy: the Zoning BOARD decides. They don't let the Spruce Hill Zoning Committee, or any other community organization zoning committee, decide for them.
