Kids these days
don't value a dollar
don't wanna chew but they
sure can swaller
If I had my way
there'd be some
changes made
cause there's sure something wrong with
kids these days

I totally agree with you in every way. I have lost count of the number of
young people I encounter who act as if no one has ever said "NO" to them.
It's sad. The Wawa at 38th & Spruce seems to be ground zero for that kind of
behavior here.

Wow! This is SO weird given John Desmond's post yesterday.

Just today I was downloading articles about Narcissism and Threatened
Egotism, because I firmly believe that criminals have excessive self-esteem
and not the opposite.

I have spared with many colleagues who believe the educational psycho
babble for years.

Their theories do not gibe with real experiences with violent children and
adolescents.

The more our kids have heard how marvelous they are the more violent
schools have become and as a result society.

It will be as if there is a new generation who have more than the usual
number of sociopaths and psychopaths, (drugged kids during their prime
developmental stage. overly indulged, overly pumped up children during their
prime developmental stage), wholly unleashed into society in which they
cannot function successfully.

The kids you speak of in the DP article are at least Ivy League. Imagine
