I had that TV experience, too.  Put out a non-working TV with the trash, and it was gone before the truck got there.  I wonder what trash-picking people do with TVs that don't work?  Fix them?  Re-trash them?  Smash them?  Recycle them? (Haha).

Out here on 48th street we just break the law by throwing our old TV's on the street.

I noticed last week that the residents of 900 S 48th St were made to take the plywood covers off their windows. They put it up so their recording studio/concert venue wouldn't bother the neighbors. I heard anecdotallly that a number of people had complained to L & I.
