Wilma,

You may want to access the Audubon Society website to register your backyard as
a habitat. There is a wealth of information on using the proper
plantings to attract birds, bees and butterflies.

  Dear Neighbors,

I have finally succeeded at least twice this week in attracting
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds to my back garden on 45th St.

Has anyone else had success in attracting and keeping them there?

Should I plant anything special? Right now I am just using several feeders
and a couple of plants such as Bee Balm.

I would appreciate any and all advice.

  Thanks.

  Wilma
