I am just astounded that even 50 people attended a SHCA Zoning Committee Meeting.
If more attended that was even more surprising. A zoning committee report is a usual part of the SHCA Board Meetings and taken for granted. If there was community consensus against the proposed hotel project, the designated community association should acknowledge their concerns and advocate in the interest their members. There¹s no argument here or confusion as the By-Laws state. I regret not attending the meeting. Yesterday afternoon and evening was my turn to attend to my mother who needs everything, but refuses assisted living. Some things just cannot be helped.
