for her foster dog, Nakiah. She thinks that some dog
people in the suburbs would be good, so please help me

Nakiah: The Fairy Tale begins…
This Doberman/Shepherd mix touched my heart at a pet event near the Art
Museum. When I found out that she was an older dog (between 6-8 years)
and stressed from being in and out of the shelter - I took her home as
a foster to live with myself & my dog Sascha.
Nakiah had the saddest eyes I’ve ever seen. Give her a bucket and a
mop and she could’ve been Cinderella scrubbing ashes in the
fireplace. I saw right beyond her coat, defeated demeanor, protruding
ribs and backbone and lop eared, downtrodden look --- I saw her royal
potential.
Like Cinderella, Nakiah’s story was not without drama. When I first
met her, she was stressed and reactive from a rough life that no one
may ever know anything about. But after working with her she’s
blossomed! Her coat is shiny, her eyes are bright & filled with love.
She taught me patience and I found that she is a highly responsive,
easy to train and eager to please addition to my home.
Unfortunately, my situation has changed and I can no longer care for
this delightful foster dog who transformed into a princess right before
my eyes.
HELP MAKE NAKIAH’S DREAM COME TRUE …& give her a happy FAIRY TALE
ending!
