Hi, Noone's claimed the cat my friend found about 10 days ago. I'd like to try to find a good home for him before bringing him to Morris shelter since they euthanize sometimes there. He's a young adult short-hair male. He's VERY friendly, loves getting scratched and pet, and purrs a lot. He was purring and looking for love right out of the cat carrier when he was brought in from the street. He's litter trained and eats well. He's got no fleas. I haven't taken him to the vet yet though. The only thing is that he did bite/scratch me a couple times, seems like when I moved my hand too quickly in front of him and he felt threatened. After each time he backed down and waited for me to reach out to him again to "make up". So he should have someone with patience and who knows how to treat a cat that's probably been traumatized. He's scared of my shoes sometimes when I move to close to him unexpectedly. My cat was like that when I got her off the street and she quickly came round to trust me completely.
