Today's UCReview noted that although the developers of the proposed Campus Inn have said they will ask for a continuance (postponement) of their hearing to have the site in question rezoned from residential to commercial to allow them to proceed, the people on the forefront of the opposition pointed out that the Zoning Board may not grant the request to do so. They therefore urge anyone concerned about this project to attend the hearing. (If they get the continuance, it won't take long). May 6, 1515 Arch St, 18th floor; try to arrive by 9:00 am (you'll need an ID to get through the security in the building). Opponents of the project may want to download a poster showing their opposition -- and holding it up at the hearing so the Zoning Board can see how overwhelmingly the people in the neighborhood object to the project.
