Neighbors and hotel opponents,
Check out today's installment which I've linked below.
I spoke to this DP editor and the other executive editor last year. When I
accused the PCPC and PHC of creating false records as recorded on public access
TV, the pathetic report by the DP quoted me as shouting out, “you don’t live
here.” That did not occur and they printed a retraction.
Not only did I inform the two editors that this was not a NIMBY issue, I gave
him information to investigate the truth, such as the link to the false records
located on the PCPC web site. I explained that the hotel is a massive
violation of existing zoning law.
I informed him that many people have followed the entire pathetic coverage from
the DP. I informed him that it is quite apparent that the DP is putting the
one-sided coverage, the Campus Inn message, in a manner that shows that it is
part of the spin machine. I was very clear that this type of coverage of a
serious issue is either pathetic incompetent journalism or they do not have
independence from the university. We’ve seen the Campus Inn press release as
an editorial from the editorial board, the fake news reports; and now the
one-sided reporting is being cloaked as this dude’s partial report, partial
opinion.
Both editors were incredibly defensive about their independence from the real
estate business people who have completely taken over the U. They never
followed up with me nor did they ever investigate and report the falsified
records which I gave to them, in-person, in their offices. A big story waiting
for legitimate journalists continues to sit waiting!
He had an opportunity to consider this crap and know better than to write this
crap. I spoke to the Wharton dude directly! Take a look at the crap:
