"So, don't let Al's support sway you in the wrong direction - Brett Mandel would be a great City Controller!"
Don't worry Mel, his support won't sway me in the wrong direction. Uh-oh, but your support might.
I'm waiting to hear from Jeff Blockhead, the SHCA president, and zoning committee on this matter-hahaha. I never have given any consideration to VanHelder's rabid and pathetic ad hominem antics.

Here's a note to say that, for the first time ever, I totally agree with Al Krigman!!! I also support Brett Mandel.
Brett has worked tirelessly for tax reform in Philadelphia. At Philadelphia Forward (which I've mentioned on the listserv previously), he made great strides in educating people about tax problems and how they affect our city. We need someone with his knowledge, enthusiasm & perseverance to oversee the completion of the change to fair taxation at the Board of Revision of Taxes, and to steer a manageable course for other tax issues and other attempts to get the city to operate more efficiently.
So, don't let Al's support sway you in the wrong direction - Brett Mandel would be a great City Controller!

I have to say, the fact that you support him, Al, makes me immediately and rabidly opposed to his candidacy, and I know nothing of his policies or personal character.
