Holly Near will be performing on Friday March 6th, 2009 at 8PM in the First
Unitarian Church at 2125 Chestnut St. A couple of sample video clips are on

Holly Near is a unique combination of entertainer, teacher and activist. An
immense vocal talent, Near's career as a singer has been profoundly defined
by an unwillingness to separate her passion for music from her passion for
human dignity. She is a skilled performer and an outspoken ambassador for
peace who brings to the stage an integration of world consciousness,
spiritual discovery, and theatricality.
Tickets can be purchased on-line (just follow the above link). If you would
like to arrange to purchase tickets some other way, off-line, please contact
the church office at 215-563-3980.
When you purchase tickets, your name will be added to our "Will-Call List"
which will be at our box office. To claim your tickets the night of the show,
simply present a valid ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets
on-line (or if you prefer, you can bring along a print-out of the
transaction's confirmation page).
