Thank you Brian for forwarding. Listmates, I am on The Rotunda
Community Advisory Board and we hope you will come out to celebrate 10
years of great programming, community building, and activism with us
this weekend. Unfortunately, several thousands of dollars of equipment
was stolen from The Rotunda earlier this summer. We hope to recoup
the items lost so that we may continue to provide diverse, quality
programming and events for many more years to come. Lots of planning
has gone into the Birthday Celebration and so many community members
have contributed to this effort; Brian has already sent the schedule
and I should add that two of his Clark Park films will be included in
the film festival on Sunday. The festival will feature short films
with a Philly slant as Brendan Cooney of West Philadelphia Orchestra
(along with Elliott Levin on sax and flute) plays a live piano score
to Buster Keaton.

A link to the full list of events, including the Saturday night Gala,
is below and there is something for everyone. I know there are lots
of wonderful things happening in the neighborhood this weekend but
hopefully you can all stop on in for a few to support The Rotunda. We
need you! Thanks for reading and my apologies for any cross-posts. I
look forward to meeting more neighbors.

Best,
Rashida
