Demand letter to the FOCP Board and Officers Dear President Chance,
Please forward the e-mail post below to each Board member and officer of the FOCP, as well as a cc of the forward to me. I am also sending this request to the public listserv which serves our community. I am a citizen of this community, and a past member of the FOCP. During open public discussions about The Friends of Clark Park plans to redesign park A., your spokesperson, Mr. Anthony West, made these serious accusations on a public e-mail listserv. Does the FOCP organization support your spokesperson's accusations directed at me of engaging in a pattern of serious illegal and unsavory activity? I demand an immediate response from the Board of the Friends of Clark Park. Within 72 hours, I will be using your spokesperson's public accusation, as an example of the relationship between the FOCP leadership and our community and residents. Mr Chance, as you hoped, I am preparing a legal defense against libel based on the letter I published in the UC Review. I would encourage the FOCP board not to file such a lawsuit against me. I will be prepared to immediately file a frivolous lawsuit action. As to the false and malicious accusations against me by Mr. Anthony West, I will wait briefly for a formal reply from the FOCP Board, before taking actions directly against the association. If the FOCP board does not support this public accusation by your leader and spokesperson; you have a defined process to remove Mr. Anthony West from the association immediately, and as FOCP representative to UCD committees. The discussion about Clark Park is a very serious community topic, and the discussion was public. Mr. West's malicious libelous accusations were done while he was representing the position of the FOCP park redesign committee. I will interpret non-action by the Board, as support for Mr. West's accusations, and act accordingly. I demand an immediate response, Glenn Moyer 1st request via Mr. Frank Chance -----Forwarded Message----- >From: Anthony West <anthony_w...@earthlink.net> >Sent: Jan 24, 2010 12:01 PM >To: univcity@list.purple.com >Subject: Re: [UC] letter in UC Review, Clark Park closure > >At some point, it does befall a neighborhood that it speak as one on a >public-spending controversy.
