Personally, I could not care LESS whether or not a Starbucks opens at 42nd &
Woodland.

After what I went through in late 1970's as a college student who had my
very own Espresso/Capuccino machine in my dorm room, while most Americans
drank instant Sanka and Maxwell House coffee, I now feel vindicated.

The insults, ridicule and abuse I endured during my late teens and early
20's only to witness America discover true coffee, in the early 80's and
onward AND pay through the nose for it, doesn't bother me in the least.

One caveat is "latte", which means milk. One should never order latte if
one wants coffee.
