The UCD had checked on reported crimes north of Baltimore for their meeting, so what was happening south of Baltimore wasn't clear then. I've been really surprised to find that, according to this website, there have been almost no crimes south of Baltimore in the area considered to be University City in the past month! This is especially interesting because the old wives' tale, "don't live south of Baltimore," still comes up occasionally in the real estate business. Others on this list might be interested in signing up for this free daily crime summary email. I think it's helpful to have a clear picture of what's actually going on.
