Campus Inn supporters,

Bloomberg and Huffington Post are reporting on the misuse of tax credits for building luxury hotels (link below).

Some of you may wish to look at the delicious package of taxpayer welfare for the Campus Inn and the specific "investment" programs everyone will be paying for.

I found marketing spin about the HUB's use of the "New Market Tax Credit" which is the specific corporate welfare program exposed in the Bloomberg report (2nd link below).

Is the HUB really part of a distressed ghetto?

Some of you environmentalists may also consider the use of "green" grants for rain water management that has been funneled by the Water Department, for covering the previously open green space in Clark Park. (It's a classified secret, but I assume Penn/UCD got its 60% cut). Hey, if it's green, it's good; say no more!

I know I'm a dirty traitor for bringing up these issues, but I'm quite used to being hated in the district. The barking cheese gang needs to proceed with their "death ray."
