There are two different African men, typically well-dressed and friendly,
that are known pickpockets that have worked the Green Line and Fiume and
Local 44 solo, and a pair of American-sounding black women, occasionally in
muslim garb (headscarves, not the full hijab,) that have done the same.
One of the women will be loud and social and zany and drunk-seeming (the
"bumper") while her partner (the "wire") takes advantage of the
distraction. Keep a weather eye out.
