Just a little Pete Seeger story. A number of years ago I went to a
demonstration in Manhattan in defense of some community gardens. Pete Seeger
came walking up with his guitars. He asked who could read music. I was one of 4
or 5 who said we could, he passed out the music for the song, and we got to be
his back-up singers that afternoon.
