Public bug reported: Binary package hint: anjal
I am using UNR on an Acer Aspire One netbook with a 1024×600 screen. When Anjal opens, it is full-screened. Common keyboard shortcuts (F11) do not unmaximize it. In addition, the UI elements resize once the message list loads, so that the "Close" button in the top right corner is beyond the right edge of the screen. In order to close Anjal, I must Alt+Tab to another open window, then right-click on the icon in the window-picket-applet and choose "Close". Expected: * All elements of the Anjal UI remain within the available screen real estate. * Anjal does not obscure the taskbar unless explicitly full-screened with F11 or other keyboard shortcut. $ lsb_release -rd && apt-cache policy anjal Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 anjal: Installed: 0.0~20090701-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.0~20090701-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.0~20090701-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: anjal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Anjal opens maximized, does not fit on 1024×600 screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
