With "and /home on dmraid on two other disks /dev/sda and /dev/sdb" I meant that /dev/sdaX and /dev/sdbX will be part of a dmraid array. But /dev/sdc which contains my root is not part of an array. > It is already triggered: Good. For some reason this did not work when Christian tried, since he "had to uninstall and re-install mdadm to purge dmraid from initramfs". > And how this should fix this issue? Then Christian and other people with special set-ups can use this option to make sure dmraid is not run. Actually my two suggestions are pretty much the same as what Christian said in his original bug report. -- Dual-boot install using mdadm root fails to boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/392510 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
