Yes, there is still a problem. In Gutsy there is no package called "java-gnome". Are there any replacements for it?
Well, I only want to use DBus within Java and I need the package dbus- java for that. But dbus-java only exists in Debian releases (lenny and sid). I couldn't find it in any Ubuntu releases. But why? Why do I have to download such packages from packages.debian.org? I always thought, all debian packages would also be in the ubuntu repository. This bug report is a little bit out of date. Is it better to create a new bug report, something like "dbus-java missing in Gutsy and Hardy"? -- Update of java-gnome in breezy-backports and dapper https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/6568 You received this bug notification because you are a member of MOTU, which is a bug assignee. -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
