And it will be in the packages of TL 2009.

If some Ubuntu guys could help testing, there are preliminary packages
available at
        deb http://people.debian.org/~preining/TeX/ tl2009-pre/
        deb-src http://people.debian.org/~preining/TeX/ tl2009-pre/
that would help a lot for getting it real soon.
