Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lxde-common
This is happening in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic-koala with lxmusic 0.4.0. Apparently, this is the last version for this package, so I didn't tried installing from sources. $ apt-cache policy lxmusic lxmusic: Installed: 0.4.0-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.4.0-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.4.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://mirror.ousli.org karmic/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Summary: LXMusic never reproduces *anything* How to reproduce: click in the "Playlists" menu >> Add to current playlist >> add files or folders Then you choose your favorite mp3 folder. lxmusic then walks all over the subfolders of that folder you chose (it updates its main window section for the list of songs while doing this). After the process ends, the music list is again totally empty, and there is no way to make it play anything. It does not matter whether you create another playlist or use the default one. ** Affects: lxde-common (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- lxmusic does not work correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474086 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
