Well, I've found the solution for my PC. After shooting in the dark for I while, I've found out that halt scripts symlink wasn't in any rc*.d. I've used BUM (boot-up manager) to set them to be run on start up, or loaded (please translate what I'm explaining because my knoledge is quite ... low).
To sum up. I've "marked" the halt script in BUM and now my pc shuts down as before. The thing is: upgrading from Jaunty to Karmik I lost the capability to shut down and after that upgrade, the only "serious thing" I did was upgrading tu grub2. So, I think I haven't done any thing to remove de rc*.d symlinks. Anyway, thank you very much and if help needed I will be pleased if I can contribute -- not shutting down but rebooting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/475920 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
