There is a new version, 0.8.4.1. Maybe that one fixes this problem. See http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/applications/xfce4-power-manager for the release. But checking the changes, it might not do that.
0.8.4.1 ======= - Because on some systems we might not have the brightness keys mapped. LCD brightness change are not reflected to xfpm when keys are pressed, so save the actual brightness before dimming the screen on idle to restore it afterword. (bug #5811). - Check if DPMS is enabled before doing action on lid close event (bug #5805). - Allow 1% as a minimum critical charge level. - Build fix with xextproto > 7.0.5 (bug #5897). The icon isn't showing for me when I'm on AC only, and the manager seems to crash after the battery is fully charged. -- No tray icon visible, even if set visible in preferences https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
