Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: brasero

Description:    Ubuntu 9.10
Release:        9.10

brasero        2.28.2-0ubuntu1

Brasero can't write to the external USB-Burner. Commandline burning with wodim
works!
I think Brasero scans just the first bus (internal) and aborts. So the USB-bus
is not reconized and the mitsumi burner is missing.
And there is no way to say brasero, which drive he should take.
Brasero shows only the option to make an iso-File, not to burn to any drive.

On the commandline wodim burns every iso:
$ wodim -v dev= /dev/scd1 speed=16 -eject afile.iso

$ wodim -scanbus
wodim: Warning: controller returns wrong size for CD capabilities page.
