Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xfwm4
It happens only with my old login. I tried with a fresh one (new account with no old settings) and didn't show up the same errors. Just for comparision, below the .xsession-errors that belongs to the fresh account. $ sudo cat /home/chronos/.xsession-errors /etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... /usr/bin/startxfce4: X server already running on display :1 xfdesktop[21373]: starting up (xfce4-mixer-plugin:21386): libxfce4mixer-CRITICAL **: xfce_mixer_get_track: assertion `GST_IS_MIXER (card)' failed (xfce4-mixer-plugin:21386): xfce4-mixer-plugin-CRITICAL **: xfce_mixer_plugin_set_card: assertion `GST_IS_MIXER (card)' failed (xfce4-mixer-plugin:21386): xfce4-mixer-plugin-CRITICAL **: xfce_mixer_plugin_set_track: assertion `GST_IS_MIXER_TRACK (track)' failed (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:21394): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing type `_PolkitError' (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:21394): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (xfce4-terminal:21424): Terminal-WARNING **: Unable to load terminal preferences. ** (update-notifier:21398): DEBUG: error during dbus call: The name org.debian.apt was not provided by any .service files ** Message: xfsm-shutdown-helper.c:268: Using HAL to shutdown/reboot the computer.
