Problem apparently solved. I just moved $HOME/.config/xfce4 directory to another location and restarted xfce without rebooting.
Now, as you can see, .xession-errors has only a few lines after the startup. I'm changing its status to invalid. $ tail -f .xsession-errors /etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... /usr/bin/startxfce4: X server already running on display :0 xfdesktop[2866]: starting up xfce4-settings-helper is already running (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:2880): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing type `_PolkitError' (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:2880): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (xfce4-xkb-plugin:2909): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed (xfce4-xkb-plugin:2909): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed (xfce4-xkb-plugin:2909): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed ** Changed in: xfwm4 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- xfwm4 flooding .xsession-errors on start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/497817 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
