Does Amarok support system-wide start-up integration of scripts? Starting remuco-amarok using a desktop environment's session startup hooks is a per-user configuration (or are there system-wide settings?). I guess the same is true for a possible script-startup-integration of Amarok (though the remuco-amarok adapter is not really an "Amarok- script", it's just something executable which communicates with Amarok by DBus).
>From a performance point of view I see no problem in starting remuco- amarok automatically. It simple does nothing as long as Amarok does not run and get's waked up by the DBus daemon once Amarok starts. I just thought of those guys getting angry when something happens automatically without being asked first ;) -- remuco-amarok is not executed automaticaly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496467 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
