Yes please.
The usual way to do this is
* Merge from Debian (LP: #23456), remaining changes:
- Sploge the fronk.
- Qwrak the turgle.
Of course the changes should not be carried over if they no longer make
sense. Investigating why they were introduced and whether they are still
needed should be the first step.
