Looks like Corey Bryant already wrote a similar 'pull-uca-source' script:

however that one only uses the LP -staging PPAs, and doesn't support
using binary package names.  It also pulls the entire list of published
sources in the PPA, and checks every single one, which presumably will
take a bit longer than querying the PPA for the specific package.
