** Description changed: - Binary package hint: mythtv + Binary package hint: mythmusic This bug is easily repeatable on both my frontend machines, one of which is running Mythbuntu and the other Mythtv, both installed via the package manager. The version of mythmusic reported for both is 0.21.0+fixes16838-0ubuntu2.1. Both machines are running 8.04 (ubuntu/mythbuntu). + + ***Note: 2/8/09: Installed Mythbuntu 8.10 on frontend and this bug still + occurs; version of MythMusic reported by Synaptic is now + 0.21.0+fixes18722-0ubuntu1.*** Start any song, preferably an album for ease of checking values, via the "All My Music" tree. (I don't use playlists so I don't know if this works the same via the "All My Playlists" tree.) Then go select a song from another album--basically, queuing up another song to play when you press "OK"--but leave it selected; don't press OK. Inspect the value of "numplays" for the song you've selected and note the value. Allow the player to finish the song that's playing and start the next one. 15-20 seconds into the next song (when numplays is incremented), inspect "numplays" again and it will have been incremented by one. If you go back to the song that's playing, via the tree, and inspect numplays for that song, you will find numplays is the same as it was before. So the program incremented the value of numplays for the wrong song. If you let the other album play with this other song selected, numplays will be incremented over and over--I noticed it when it had reached eight.
