Thanks, restarting timidity also works, but again, the latency will be worse than before.(a played note gets first red and then you hear the note, when there is a fast song you do not hear the highlightened notes, but these which were 0.5 sec. ago) 0.5 doesn't sound much, but in fact, when you try to play a song with tuxguitar, it is a lot and really weird for the guitar player when the notes aren't highlightened at the same time when you hear them.
