Hmm, well I'm fairly sure I am reproducing bug 359392, but I find it does *not* happen during idle, only while the system is in use (out of 5 freezes, all 5 occurred while I was doing something on the system, and I've left the system on overnight every day the past week).
So... since your bug happens after idle, for now I'm going to consider it an independent bug from 359392. I'm dropping the priority to medium because so far we have only one report of it. However, it's still on my radar and I hope to get to it in karmic.
