Binary package hint: twinkle
There is a crackling in the audio that is slight. I think it is a
difference between how KDE apps and the Gnome apps handle sound.
I'm pleased to report that Ekiga sounds great!
I need the srtp feature that twinkle proports to support for security
reasons which Ekiga does not yet support.
The up and coming qutecom supports srtp too.
The sound worked best when set to OSS but still not perfect.
The sound was very choppy when set to ALSA.
