But don't worry, with Linux everybody is a newbie! I've been using it for years and I still learn new tricks on a weekly basis. And even the things I think that I know, I discover 6 months later that there is a much easier way to do it. There's a lot to learn but the community is usually very helpful. Without helping newbies Linux simply would be limited to some l33t, and windows would simply keep on ruling the world. And we certainly don't want that ;-)
