Hey, tried this again... - it's kind of annoying that your dependencies are all from the ~x86 tree, that's not really necessary is it? (for instance it forced mysql to upgrade to 5.x)
- no crc errors now but issuing /etc/init.d/ tells me; The following modules failed to load: DBD::mysql To download and compile them, please run: /opt/slimserver/Bin/build-perl-modules.pl DBD::mysql Ofcourse, that perl script isn't located in /opt/slimserver/Bin :D It's actually deleted by the ebuild script it seems... (!) So far as I've understood this, the perl modules are required to be installed somewhere in the slimserver directory... (?) Atleast I've had to do that each and everytime I've wiped the slimserver folder... So I copied the build-perl-modules.pl from the tarball to /opt/slimserver/Bin and ran it as instructed.
