Hello, Yesterday I tried for the first time listening to an internet radio with slimserver 6.5.1 on SoftSqueeze. At first it complained that it couldn't play WMA. In the wiki I found that I needed to install ffmpeg on my Gentoo Linux server because softsqueeze doesn't support it nativaly like the real SB.
But now it get stuck saying: NOW PLAYING (CHECKING STREAM...) and I get complete silence. I turned d_format on and here's what I get in the log: > > FFmpeg version SVN-rUNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2006 Fabrice Bellard, > et al. > configuration: --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib --shlibdir=/usr/lib > --mandir=/usr/share/man --enable-static --enable-shared > --cc=i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc --disable-mmx --disable-altivec > --disable-debug --disable-audio-oss --disable-v4l --disable-v4l2 > --disable-dv1394 --disable-network --disable-ffplay --disable-opts > --enable-gpl --enable-pp --disable-strip > libavutil version: 49.0.1 > libavcodec version: 51.20.0 > libavformat version: 50.6.0 > built on Jan 26 2007 07:03:46, gcc: 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3) > : I/O error occured > Usually that means that input file is truncated and/or corrupted. > Assuming raw pcm input file : Forcing byte-swapping > LAME version 3.96.1 (http://lame.sourceforge.net/) > Using polyphase lowpass filter, transition band: 17249 Hz - 17782 Hz > Encoding <stdin> to <stdout> > Encoding as 44.1 kHz 128 kbps stereo MPEG-1 Layer III (11x) qval=5 > I installed ffmpeg 0.4.9_p20061016 The conversion stream line in the wiki maybe out of date? I'm stuck. Any suggestions?
