When/if the installer ask you what you want to install, check either all the "server" options, or everything. Even fully loaded, you only need a gig or two of disk, and every computer has that. The big pain in recent Mandriva distros for the Slimserver is that Mandriva no longer includes all the Perl modules unless you say you want the "developers" options.
