I'm having a strange problem in that my setup (Debian etch (AMD64), slimserver 6.3.1) in that it is quite happy to stream internet radio (using AlienBBC) and to play mp3 files, but won't play ogg files at all on either of my squeezeboxes (one SB1, one SB2) - a bit of a problem as 90% of my 40GB is oggs!. The strangest thing is that it used to do so quite happily. I can't quite trace when it stopped working.
I tried to upgrade to 6.5.1 this morning, but the Slimdevices .deb gives me unmet dependencies, the main Debian repository one I have never succeeded in making work, and the tarball needs xml-simple-perl 2.15, where testing only has 2.14. Any ideas as to how to address this, gratefully received.
